Sickness Policy

Cold and flu season has made its annual return, and we’re approaching it with a shared commitment to practicality.

At FreedomCar, we take significant steps to ensure the protection of our passengers and team members. Here are answers to some common questions:

What happens if I’m not feeling well?
If you’ve got an upcoming trip with FreedomCar and are feeling under the weather, please let us know. We don’t care if you picked it up hitchhiking, on a beautiful trip, or just in the comfort of your own home. We want to know about it so we can help. Rest assured, we’ll still take care of you and get you to your destination.

Do you have special protocols for illness?
Yes, we do. Our drivers will be informed of the illness and follow a strict protocol. This includes seating passengers in the rear of a large vehicle, mandatory masking for all occupants, and the implementation of stringent safety measures. You’ll be briefed on these procedures before your service.

Are masks mandatory?

If you are sick, yes.

If you are healthy, mask use is optional.
If you prefer your driver to remain masked, simply let your reservationist know, and we’ll happily accommodate your request. Some of our drivers will continue wearing masks based on their personal preference.

Thank you for your cooperation, and for the trust you place in FreedomCar to transport you, your colleagues, and your family safely and responsibly.

We greatly appreciate your business.
