FROM A TRAIN CAR TO A FREEDOMCAR

BWI Airport Train station is just over a mile from BWI and serviced by Amtrak Northeast Corridor intercity trains and MARC Penn Line regional rail trains. Fun fact, it was the first intercity rail station in the U.S. built to service an airport. Although Penn Station is considered the Baltimore area’s main intercity station, BWI Airport Rail station is Amtrak’s sixth-busiest station in the Mid-Atlantic and the 12th busiest in the nation.

Needless to say, we are frequent fliers at this station, ready to pick you up and get you where you need to be in stress-free, clean comfort. We’re always on time so you’re always on track.

  • We offer flat hourly rates to and from BWI Amtrak Station so you know what to expect. As always, there’s no tipping—our drivers are focused on the quality of your transportation, not the quantity of your transaction.

We’ll provide you with a quote when you make your reservation, as well as email confirmations and receipts for a paperless experience.

  • Our drivers are as easy to identify as our vehicles. We’ll track your train and send you a courtesy text when it’s about five minutes out to let you know exactly where to find us.

You’ll recognize your driver by the FreedomCar uniform—a dark red-colored FreedomCar shirt and black pants—and our signature red cars featuring our logo. If you don’t see your driver right away, just give us a call, (410) 321-5600. We can connect you with him or her immediately.

  • Need transportation to or from another rail station? We offer service to most mid-Atlantic train stations, including:
    • Washington, DC Union Station (WAS)
Penn (BAL) Station in Baltimore, MD
