Below are photos and some thoughts we shared with WJZ-TV in preparation for their story on the mural. Though the quotes were a little much for local news to digest, we believe in these thoughts and think you might be interested to hear them.
“Everyone is talking about working remotely these days. We’re not remote, we can’t be. It’s important to invest in our physical facility, making this place the second home it needs to be for our staff. This mural reflects the energy and creativity of our people.”
“It’s a commitment to beauty that reflects FreedomCar’s commitment to the happiness of our customers. We love Baltimore. To us, it’s the secret center of the universe and part of our company’s mission is to promote the area. That should also be reflected in our facility.”
“It’s all about commitment to things that can’t be monetized: beauty, kindness, positive energy. We attach value to those things, even if stockholders wouldn’t. We have no stockholders. We can do whatever we want. We’ve also been doing this for 32 years now and think it’s time to celebrate a bit.”
